Bangkok - Li & Fung in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Thailand held a workshop on “Promoting Ethical Recruitment and Fair Labour Practices in Fashion industry in Asia” on 31st October 2019 at Renaissance hotel, Bangkok. 

This workshop designed to support Li & Fung suppliers in Thailand to build their capacity on ethical recruitment and migrant worker protection from exploitation in labour supply chains.

The workshop includes interactive sessions to provide suppliers with the ability to identify risks in the labour supply chains, to better understand updated Thai National law and International Standards, as well as to have a better understanding of relevant policies, potential gaps, and the role of internal engagement. Attendance includes 38 participants from 22 Garment and Tectile businesses in Thailand.
