Migrant workers make valuable contributions to societies. However, they remain disproportionately vulnerable to exploitation and abuse, representing almost a quarter of the 25 million victims of forced labour globally. As states have the duty to protect, businesses have a responsibility to respect migrant workers’ rights, and remedy harm when it has occurred.
